From Emotional Management to Emotional Resilience:
Emotional intelligence is a vital skill that helps individuals manage complex situations in today's world, influencing effectiveness, relationships, well-being, and quality of life. The World Economic Forum highlights it as a crucial skill for the future, yet emotional intelligence has declined globally since 2011.
In the era of technological revolution, people face constantly changes, including digitalization and the impacts of COVID-19, leading to emotional stress. Adults need support and learning to cope with these challenges for a better future personal and work life.
The Erasmus+ project "From Emotional Management to Emotional Resilience" (EMER) aims to help disadvantaged individuals, like the elderly and unemployed, overcome difficulties and build emotional resilience. The project aligns with the "ET 2020" policy to promote justice and social inclusion. Various organizations from Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Italy, and Turkey collaborate on this initiative, providing innovative training tools and learning opportunities for adults.
The project will produce resources such as a training guide and an e-learning platform to support lifelong learning and enhance adults' life skills, with potential applications in other educational sectors.
